Working on the boundary between documentary and meta-fiction, ‘The Last Thoughts of Stockton Rush’ sets out as a narrative reinterpretation of the events surrounding the 2023 Titan Submersible Implosion. But after a tragic event in the filmmakers own life, the narratives begin to face each other as the soft shades of fiction become injected with the red flares of reality.
