Lily Renshaw is a London-based observational photographer and visual artist. Her work explores social dynamics, particularly amongst women and the ways the world behaves around them. Many of her projects stem from personal experience, gradually expanding to represent wider groups similarly affected. Following a candid approach, colour and flash are recognisable features of her work, used to infuse life into the mundane through shifting perspectives. 

‘Eclosion’ is an observational photography project merging aspects of fine art and documentary. Through poetry and mixed media, it celebrates the beauty of female relationships whilst bringing women to the forefront within a society that often undermines women’s experiences.
