Community projects, pubs, seaside cliches and council estate parks set the backdrop to Archie’s work, with the working-class experience shaping his youth and his adulthood. Facing the stigma attached to living in social housing has ultimately resulted in a push back against assumptions. “Love and other feelings” provides a glimpse into life in Weston-super-Mare, a place that for many represents holiday fun and for others a place they’ll never leave.

It’s through adversity that Archie’s work is defined, often encouraging audiences to see the good through the bad.

This project is, quite simply put, Archie Byron’s love letter to Weston.
